Omote Iai, Ura Iai

Masaki-ryu Nakajima-ha is comprised of omote iai (where one actively engages) and ura iai (where one receives an attack).

In the photo below, Nawa Yumi-sensei demonstrates a technique from the ura iai series "kobushi garami" with senior
practitioner Nakajima Michio.
